Esty G. Hayim |
Esty G. Hayim was born in Jaffa, Israel, in 1963 and grew up in Haifa. She studied theater and acting at Tel Aviv University. Hayim, a writer and actress, has performed at Tel Aviv`s Cameri Theater as well as at other venues. At present, she teaches creative writing at college and writes literary reviews for the Hebrew press. Hayim has published three novels and a collection of short stories. She has received the Haaretz Short Story Prize, the Tel Aviv Foundation Award and the Prime Minister`s Prize (2002).
