Ilan Schoenfeld

Ilan Schoenfeld (b. 1960, Israel) earned his MA in General, Hebrew and English Literature from Tel Aviv University, where he teaches and is working towards his PhD in Gay Studies.
Schoenfeld began publishing in 1977. He has worked as a newspaper editor, literary critic and has written on cultural topics. He was also the founding editor of an Israeli magazine on literature and theory. He has taught in high school and academic institutions and conducted various writing workshops. He was the spokesman for the Cameri Theater and owns a public relations office and a publishing house specializing in gay literature.
