Zvi Atzmon

Zvi Atzmon (b. 1948; Givat Shmuel, Israel) graduated with honors in Biochemistry and Physiology from the Hebrew University (1970) and teaches Life Sciences at the David Yellin College in Jerusalem.
Atzmon published his first poems in 1979. He has edited several scientific Hebrew publications as well as Moznaim, the journal of the Israel Writers Association. He has received several prizes, including the ACUM Prize (1980, 1983, 1986) and the Kugel Prize (1991).
