Gadi Taub

Born in Jerusalem in 1965, Gadi Taub completed his first two degrees in history and interdisciplinary studies at Tel Aviv University and received his PhD in American history at Rutgers University. He teaches communications at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Taub has hosted many TV shows for children, as well as a weekly talk show on the IDF radio station, and has written scripts for children`s TV. He has also been a columnist for the daily Maariv. At present, Taub lectures widely on current cultural issues in Israel and is co-editor of Mikarov, a journal for literature and culture. He has published a book of short stories, a collection of essays and five books for children. His story, The Witch of Melchett Street, has been adapted for TV. Taub was awarded the Ze`ev Prize in 2000.
