Leah Ayalon

Leah Ayalon was born in Jerusalem, where she lives today. She studied comparative literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and works at the National Library. Best known for her poetry, Ayalon published her first collection of short stories in 1991. Since then, she has published two novels, a novella and one more collection of stories. Ayalon has received several literary awards, including the Jerusalem Prize.
