Eda Zoritte-Megged |
Eda Zoritte-Megged (b. Tel Aviv, Israel) first began publishing essays in journals in 1955. She earned her B. Ed in Education and also studied drama in New York. She has taught in Israel and the United States, acted in the Habimah National Theater. Zoritte-Megged also paints. She received the Minister’s Award in 1981 and 2000 and the 1990 David Sadan Award from Tel Aviv University. Her stories have been translated into English, French German and Hindu languages.
Zoritte-Megged is married to novelist Aharon Megged, and the mother of two sons, a writer and an historian.
