Ruth Blumert

Ruth Blumert was born in Haifa in 1943. She has a BSc in microbiology and biochemistry from Bar-Ilan University and an MA from the New York Theological Seminary. Blumert taught at high school and college, managed a theater archive and museum, and edited theater journals. She has published two volumes of poetry, a short-story collection, a science fiction novel and three books for children. She was awarded the Prime Minister`s Prize in 1993.
