Arieh Eckstein |
Arieh Eckstein was born in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 1929, and spent his childhood in Lodz, Poland. He spent World War II in the Lodz Ghetto and in Janusz Korczak`s orphanage before being deported. He immigrated to Israel after the war and now lives in Rosh Pina, a town in the Galilee, where he paints and sculpts.
