Ami Gedalia |
| Ami Gedalia was born in Kiryat Ono, Israel, in 1952, and studied Jewish history at Haifa University. She is a trained librarian and works in a public library. She has published 28 books for children and youth. Her book, The Last Witness, is taught in Israeli schools, and has been published in Swedish. Gedalia has been awarded the Ze`ev Prize twice (1990, 1995), the Hadassah Prize (2003), an IBBY Honor Citation for (2006) and the Trudi Birger Award for Social Involvement (2007), both for Friendship on the Net. |
