Sagit Emmet

Sagit Emmet was born in Israel in 1969. She studied psychology at the Open University and acting at the Beit Zvi Academy for Performing Arts; she has been a theater and film actress since 1994 and has also written plays. Her first book for children, Gaya's Dawn, won the Ze'ev Prize (2000) as well as the Lea Goldberg Prize (2001) and has been adapted for the stage.
