Neri Aluma

נרי אלומה

Neri Aluma was born in Kibbutz Mizra, in 1963. She studied Hebrew and comparative literature at Haifa University and received an MA in creative writing. Aluma taught for eight years at Oranim College, and at present she works as editor for children’s and youth literature at Sifriat Poalim Publishing House. She also holds creative writing workshops. Aluma has published a collection of poems, four books for children and a y/a book. She was awarded the Lies Moeller Prize (Haifa University, 2005) and the Ze’ev Prize (2007).
