Amir Ben-David

אמיר בן דוד

Amir Ben-David, writer, screenwriter, musician and journalist, was born in Haifa in 1965. He holds an LLB from Tel Aviv University’s faculty of law. In the 1990s, Ben-David was a founding member of a successful rock band, for which he was also the lead guitarist and writer-composer. He has co-authored screenplays for major Israeli feature films, and won an Israeli Film Academy award for producing the soundtrack of “Vulcan Junction.” More recently, he was editor-in-chief of Time Out Tel-Aviv, host of a cultural TV magazine on Channel 2 TV, and chief editor of a documentary series that aired recently on Channel 2 TV. Falafel Oslo is being made into a feature film, directed by Eran Riklis.
