From Page to Stage

To conclude the International Showcase of Hebrew Literature, the Israeli Institute for Hebrew Literature hosted a special event – “From Page to Stage” – last Sunday at the Elmina Theater in Jaffa.

The evening featured excerpts from works by Yehoshua Kenaz, Orly Castel-Bloom, Tamar Raphael, Vered Singer, Adva Bolle, Assaf Gavron, Yaniv Iczkovits, Yossi Avni-Levy, and Eran Bar-Gil, brought to life by actors Norman Issa, Dor Yardeni, and Sivan Kaynar Kissinger, with actor Roy Assaf serving as moderator.

“From Page to Stage” invited audiences to rediscover works of Israeli literature through the voices and interpretations of actors, illuminating the dynamic dialogue between literature and performance.
