Yael Ben-Baruch

Yael Ben-Baruch was born in in Ramat Gan, Israel, in 1950. She studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Bar-Ilan University and Hebrew Union College in Cincinatti. Ben-Baruch has worked as a special needs teacher, and as lecturer at teachers' colleges. Today, she is pedagogic advisor, and holds writing groups for children and youth. Ben-Baruch has published many books for children and youth. She received a Citation from the Ze'ev Awards Committee in 2002.
