Atlit. The End
The world is about to drown. Atlit, a small peripheral town on the Mediterranean coast, becomes a hub of pilgrimage—an unlikely cosmopolitan city submerged in water. Migrants, travelers, and wanderers from all over the world suddenly converge there. Against this backdrop, a grassroots leader emerges in Atlit—a modern-day Jesus blossoming on the rotting log of time. Is he a savior? A theologian? A false messiah?
Humanity’s farewell procession is narrated from the perspective of Natalie, a scientist who can no longer communicate her discoveries except through the power of stories, while she also mourns her son, whom she failed to save.
Atlit. The End unveils an overflowing world where hierarchies are devoured, and where humans and marine organisms, nervous systems and historical layers, fragments of stories and star paths, migrations and journeys into the depths of mythology, pioneering records, and life-saving fictions—all blend into a tumultuous mix
