Shiri Artzi

שירי ארצי

Shiri Artzi was born in Tel Aviv in 1972. In the early 90s, she went to Paris to study French, then returned to Jerusalem where she studied literature and philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and film at the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School. Artzi has produced radio programs, worked in film animation, and written on cultural events for various newspapers. She has also been a TV researcher and scriptwriter, and worked on cultural as well as literature programs for Israel TV. Artzi was awarded the Minister for Culture`s Prize for her first novel, Mud (2007).
