Anat Feinberg

Anat Feinberg was born in Tel Aviv in 1951. She studied English literature and philosophy at Tel Aviv University and received her PhD in English literature from London University. Feinberg has taught English literature and drama at Ben-Gurion University and at Tel Aviv University. Currently resides in Germany, where she teaches Hebrew and Jewish literature at the College for Jewish Studies in Heidelberg. Her first novel was published in 1973. She is the editor of several anthologies of contemporary Hebrew literature in translation, as well as of the modern Hebrew literature chapters in the Encyclopedia Judaica.
