Hava Havushi was born in Romania in 1950, and immigrated to Israel in 1960. She studied economics and statistics at Haifa University, and has worked as an economist in banking and industry. She now writes books and scripts for children and holds writing workshops. Havushi has published many books for children and youth. She has been awarded the Ze`ev Prize for Never Waste a Sunset (1996), the ACUM Prize (2003) and the Prime Minister`s Prize (2005). | |
