Yael Medini

Born in Tel Aviv in 1930, Yael Medini has a BA in English literature from Hunter College and an MA in educational psychology from New York University. She has published three books for adults and five for children in a variety of genres: a novel, novellas, short stories and poems. She has also written radio scripts. The Boy I Never Knew won the Yad Vashem Prize (1998) and the Ze`ev Prize (1999).
