Yael Tevet Klagsbald
was born in Tel Aviv in 1955, and now lives in Kfar Shemaryahu. She studied law
at Tel Aviv University and worked as a fashion journalist and editor for
the daily Haaretz. Later she wrote a column, as well as articles on
various issues for Maariv. At present, she holds creative writing
workshops for women prisoners in Neve Tirtza Prison.
Tevet Klagsbald has
written lyrics, some of which have become hits in Israel, and two novels. Flying Tiger, her second novel, is a bestseller and is
being made into a TV series.
