Gali Mir-Tibon

Gali Mir-Tibon was born and raised on Kibbutz Kvutzat Schiller. She has a PhD in Holocaust studies from Tel Aviv University. Mir-Tibon is the founder and CEO of the Institute for Excellence in the Humanities, a teacher trainer in the Amit schools, and a lecturer at Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh and Bar-Ilan University, Israel. She is also the former principal of high schools in Bat Yam and Ma’alot Tarshicha. The List of the Mothers is her first novel.
