Orian Zakai

Orian Zakai is an author, poet, and a scholar of Hebrew literature. Her debut collection of stories, Fill in the Blanks, was published in Hebrew in 2010. In 2004, she won first prize in the Haaretz Short Story Competition. Her poetry has appeared in various Israeli literary journals, including Moznayim, Granta (Hebrew edition), and The Tel Aviv Review of Books. She is an Associate Professor of Hebrew Literature and Culture at George Washington University in Washington DC.
