Hila Blum

Born in Jerusalem in 1969, and raised there and in Hawaii. She served as a correspondant in the Israeli army magazine “Bamachane” and studied English literature in the Hebrew university in Jerusalem. She worked as a journalist and as a literature critic, and works as the Hebrew editor of Kinneret-Zmora Publishing house.

Blum won the Prime Minister Prize in 2021. Her debut novel The Visit was listed to the Sapir Prize in 2012 and her second book How to Love your Daughter won the Sapir Prize in 2022.
