Michael Schonfeld

Michael Schonfeld was born in Petah Tikva, Israel, in 1976. He combined his compulsory military service with Jewish and religious studies in a yeshiva, and has a BA in law and psychology from Bar Ilan University. At present, he is completing his law internship at the Ministry of Justice in Jerusalem, while continuing his yeshiva studies. In 2002, Schonfeld won the Short Story Prize awarded by Israel`s National Lottery.
