Ruth Blumert

Ruth Blumert (1943-2014) was born in Haifa. She had a BSc in microbiology and biochemistry from Bar-Ilan University and an MA from the New York Theological Seminary. Blumert taught at high school and college, managed a theater archive and museum, and edited theater journals. She published poetry, short stories,  science fiction and books for children and youth. Blumert was awarded the Prime Minister’s Prize in 1993.
