Yair Agmon

Yair Agmon is a multi-disciplinary creator: author, television and film writer, lecturer, and thinker. Among his acclaimed TV works are Y-Y-Y, a pioneering portrait of Israel’s millennial generation, and the web series The Hitchhikers, which won the Israeli Academy Award for Television. Agmon’s prose moves with virtuosity between scriptural commentary, essayistic reflection, and literary fiction. His many works include the short story collection Something Must Happen, which explores the various manifestations of metaphysical yearning in Israeli society, and The Book of Exes, an anatomical atlas of past loves. Agmon’s multifaceted presence across different creative fields has made him one of the most prominent cultural figures of his generation.
