David’s Song
David is a strange, solitary child with extraordinary powers. Against all reason, his music can make people do anything he wants. But David uses his flute only for good, and as he grows so does his altruism. David is locked up during the great war, because at the sound of his flute the soldiers lay down their arms and return home. But David’s flute can do things that can’t be imagined, and the release of the prisoners and his influence over the king are part of the story’s resolution. Storyteller Benjamin Tammuz has spun tangible magic in this optimistic fantasy.
