Friends, Drums and a Pistol

Two good friends, Rami and Dov, find a bag filled with money, jewelry and a gun in a field near their home. After some adventures, they hand it over to the police and a few days later, it is returned to its rightful owner who turns out to be a wealthy tourist from France. As a token of thanks, the tourist invites the boys to dinner at his hotel and gives them each a flute. Ever resourceful, Rami and Dov-who don`t want flutes-exchange them for a set of drums, and start learning how to play. But then comes conflict. Rami is upset by Dov`s fickle attitude towards him, and Dov, who is overweight and thinks that his parents are ashamed of him, takes out his frustration on Rami. But Rami`s resourceful grandmother comes to the rescue and helps Dov lose weight with a special herbal tea!

This is an adventure story that involves not only cops and robbers but also a Palestinian boy from Gaza (who sneaks into the hospital where his grandfather is being treated) and many other characters who all help create a compelling book.
