Just One More Hug

This bittersweet story begins in a boarding school for gifted children, continues in an exotic lighthouse, and ends on a plane as the protagonists take off on a trip to Europe.

Fifteen-year-old May is at boarding school with her younger brother, Kai. Compared to the other children there, May and her brother are well off. Their parents are separated; their mother lives in Australia, and their father is busy at his business all day. May and Kai are going to spend the summer vacation with their grandfather, a former sea captain who lives in a lighthouse. May falls in love with handsome 18-year-old Roy, but it is a short and disappointing relationship, because she refuses to give in to Roy`s sexual demands. When May`s mother comes over for a visit and takes her two children on a trip to Europe, May`s anger with her dissipates. On the plane, she also meets Tom, a really nice boy, and she gets the feeling she might fall in love with him.
