Kite Kid

This is an enchanting fairytale about Tinbu, the captivating kite boy, who dreams of sailing the oceans. The story tells us about Tinbu`s exploits on a magical, unforgettable journey and is written with a wealth of imagination and creativity. Tinbu builds colored kites whose many shapes decorate the sky, and he teaches Lori their secret. He also tells her how important it is to love, to long for things and to feel, even when there is danger at sea. During the journey, Tinbu has to stand up to the wickedness of Captain Pachela and to Rajoka Joka, the dangerous sea monster. When he is in trouble he is helped by his friends-the mice in the ship`s hold, Lori and her father, but mainly by his magical kites and the advice of his dead parents that he carries in his heart. At the story`s end, evil Captain Pachela feels remorse for his cruelty. We see the love that lives in every creative work-even kite building-and the power of dreams and wishing. Around Tinbu, the blue shadows on the ocean, the whistling of the wind, the seashells, the sand and the colored kites are as magical as the story itself.
