The Backward Owl

A little owl, named Wowl, has a big problem: he sees everything upside down. He even reads backwards.
When he is asked to read TEN, he reads NET.
When he is asked to read LIVE he reads EVIL.

Once a year, there is a little owls` reading competition, and little Wowl is scared that the others will discover his problem. But his mother finds a solution: she writes him words and sentences that read the same from both ends –
DAD
STEP ON NO PETS
and so on.

Everything goes smoothly and Wowl becomes a STAR. But when Chief Owl writes STAR in the sand, little Wowl reads RATS. Then everything changes, and from there on, the story twists and turns in unexpected ways. This story shows that some people see the world differently, and sometimes it is worthwhile to look at the world, and people, from a different angle, and not just always the same way!
