The Magic Acorn

This story, which mixes reality with fantasy, takes place in Europe and Israel, and involves a witch, a real author named Ruth, and a boy and a girl who belong to two different worlds.

Camilla lives in a small house near the Black Forest and loves to collect acorns. Her Aunt Ruth, an Israeli author, comes to visit, and Camilla takes a liking to her. When it starts snowing, Aunt Ruth returns to Israel with a gift from Camilla – a magic acorn. One day, Ruth falls and loses consciousness. Danny, her neighbor, finds the acorn that has fallen out of her pocket, kisses it and suddenly finds himself in the Black Forest, where he meets a scary witch. After walking through the forest, Danny reaches Camilla`s house. Camilla recognizes the magic acorn, and when Danny puts it to his lips, he finds himself back in Israel. Was the journey no more than a dream?
