Harel`s playful dialogue dramatizes a young child`s discovery that each person has several names and several roles to play – that a teacher can be an aunt and a mother as well. A very special new girl comes to the kindergarten. When asked what her name is, she says, “I`ve got many names.” And it`s true. She has one name when she’s being cuddled and another when she`s naughty, one used by Mom and one used by school chums.
