This story has the charm of a nursery rhyme. Harel`s playful dialogue dramatizes a young child`s discovery that each person has several names and several roles to play – that a teacher can be an aunt and a mother as well. A very special new girl comes to the kindergarten. When asked what her name is, she says, “I`ve got many names.” And it`s true. She has one name when she’s being cuddled and another when she`s naughty, one used by Mom and one used by school chums. By the time the teacher discovers the new girl`s school name, they`ve become friends. Of course, now the girl wants to know the teacher’s name too. Well, you see, she`s got many names…
