Menahem Ben

Menahem Ben, poet and critic, was born in Poland in 1948 and immigrated to Israel with his parents in 1949. Ben began publishing poetry and reviews in the mid-sixties, and wrote for the local Tel Aviv paper, Zman Tel, Aviv and for the daily Maariv. The Magician’s Book was translated into English by his daughter, Bosmat. He was awarded the Prime Minister’s Prize (2016).
